Our yoga classes are for beginners, for intermediate, for advanced, for you! It doesn’t matter your fitness level, interest or health goals, we have something that will meet your needs. We offer traditional hot Bikram, fun and intense PyroPilates, dynamic Vinyasa, unique Fusion, and relaxing Yin classes.

Our Classes

Bikram
Our traditional 90 minute hot yoga class is comprised of 26 poses and 2 breathing exercises. Every pose is done twice. It is a sequence developed by Bikram Choudhury using 26 out of the 84 poses from the Ghosh lineage. This is a beginner class and gives students a strong foundation, helping them to achieve maximum therapeutic benefits in their practice. It works every part of the body, inside and out, maintaining optimum health and function.

Blast
Our Blast class is a fun, fast, results-driven, full-body low intensity interval circuit workout that will improve your energy levels, metabolic rate, strength, and endurance. The class includes exercises that target the major muscle groups in the body: butt/back, legs, arms/abs. All levels.

Bikram

Personal progressions and modifications are given at every stage of one’s practice. Exercises include: Sun Salutations, Standing Poses, Arm Balancing, Core Strengthing, Backbends, Hip Openers.

Our PyroPilates class is a low impact High Intensity interval Training (HIIT) system that combines pilates, heat, and core strengthening for an intense and fun cardiovascular conditioning workout. You will quickly build core and muscular strength, stamina, and endurance. The class includes exercises that target the major muscle groups in the body: arms, legs, core, glutes, and cardio set to energetic music.

Vinyasa
Our Vinyasa class maintains awareness and focus on the breath while moving through a series of poses. The sequencing of poses may change from class to class but are always tied together with the audible breath and familiarity of a Vinyasa cycle (chaturanga, up dog and down dog) to reset between poses. The class includes sun salutations, standing poses, seated poses, backbends, and some inversions. This style of yoga builds heat, flexibility, and strength, while maintaining focus on good alignment and sound structure.

Yin
Our Yin Yoga class is a slow pace with poses or asanas held for longer periods of time (3-10 minutes) on the floor. Yin yoga poses are mostly practiced on the floor using seated or reclining poses with little to no muscle activation to apply moderate stress targeting the connective tissues —the tendons, fascia, and ligaments. Yin works to target meridian channels increase circulation of energy in the body and promote flexibility. This class is a perfect complement for your regular yang practice.

NEW TO YOGA
How do I join my first class?
To join your first class:
- Book your class. The best class type for those new to yoga is Bikram, Express, Restore, Yin, YinYang. Choose your first class. Descriptions of each class can be found by clicking “View Details” on the schedule.
- You’ll be prompted to open an account. Click BOOK next to the class you’ve chosen and follow the prompts to create your account.
- Purchase ALL ACCESS FIRST MONTH. Decide which package you’d like. If you’re new to the studio, most people get our ALL ACCESS FIRST MONTH for a full month of unlimited in studio, online, and On Demand yoga.
- Review our Safety & Etiquette policies to make sure you bring everything you need. (can these be linked directly in this bullet?)
- Make sure you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to class. Be sure to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of class, as latecomers will not be allowed in and we will need enough time to complete your registration with you.

How can I start online classes?
We have two ways for you to practice online, depending on how you like to practice.
Our Online LIVE classes and our On Demand library.
We have two online options available for you. To practice on your own schedule, choose an On Demand class. To remotely join an in-studio class, choose an Online LIVE option.
On Demand: Click here to login to our On Demand library. If you have an active membership at the studio but have not yet registered for On Demand classes, you must first register your account. We will activate your account within 24 hours and you’ll be ready to choose from our library of classes!
Online LIVE: On our schedule page, choose a class that has “*Online LIVE” in the title and click BOOK. 30 minutes before class, you will receive a link to a Zoom meeting via text and email. Click the link and follow the prompts. The instructor will let you into class when they’re ready to go.
For you Online LIVE class, we suggest you practice with your camera on so we may offer you corrections but you’re welcome to leave it off if that works better for you.
What should I wear and bring to class?
- Wear workout clothes you can stretch and move in. For BLAST, Bikram, Express, Fusion, Fusion+, PyroPilates and Vinyasa classes wear something you’ll be comfortable sweating in. For Yin, YinYang and Restore classes wear something you’ll be comfortable moving and stretching in.
- Bring water. We do have a fresh filtered water station for you to fill your own water bottle with.
- Bring a yoga mat and 2 big towels.
- Bring your own props (blocks, bolsters, straps). We are not currently providing props except for dumbbells.
What if I need to leave the yoga room during class?
- We encourage all students to stay in the room for all of our classes. However, if you need to step out to go to the washroom, you are of course welcome to. If you are feeling dizzy, please sit or lie down on your mat instead of leaving. If you are feeling nauseous, please sit or lie down on your first to see if the feeling subsides.
What if I cannot stay for the full class time?
- Please only sign up for classes if you are able to participate for the full class time. We do not allow late comers in or let people leave a class before it is ended
